The Whole Story

Cabinet for an analog synthesizer. An instrument before the advent of plastic with its cabinet built from Plywood & Oak. Using laser cutting to etch the lettering on each dial, this instrument and design connects a musical instrument from the 1970s to technology of 2018. Timber always has a tactile nature which people cannot help but touching it, they want that warm feeling that plastic can never offer. This is instrument which requires a human touch there are no preset voices it must be caressed to give forth sound.
